I would like to thank the professors Kersi Porbunderwala and Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA CAIO for three days packed with knowledge and insights into what AI really is, and how it differs from traditional IT.
We explored the complexity and uniqueness of AI, its different types, generations, and ongoing evolution. We discussed the many organizational dimensions involved in managing this technology, from regulatory considerations to, most importantly, risk management and understanding what can go wrong along the way.
Most of all, I gained a much deeper appreciation of the role of the Chief AI Officer (CAIO), a position that is becoming increasingly critical as organizations adopt AI at scale. The program was intensive, thought provoking, and concluded with a final examination. It was professional training of the highest caliber.
I took the Chief AI Officer Certification myself, and I can genuinely recommend it. The three-day intensive AI certification course gave me a strong, structured foundation for leading AI transformation.
Thank you, Professor Kersi. I thoroughly enjoyed the CAIO Certification program and am already planning to attend the DPO Certification in August.
Without hesitation, this is one of the best professional development programs I have completed in many years—certainly the most valuable since earning my PMP certification more than 25 years ago.
While I am preparing to sit for the XXXX certification later this month, I found the CAIO program to be significantly more practical and actionable. Rather than focusing solely on theory, it provides participants with a comprehensive toolkit, proven frameworks, and resources that can be applied immediately and leveraged throughout an entire career.
The Global Digital Master Compliance Omnibus also looks extremely compelling for the future, and I hope to pursue it as my career progresses.
For anyone seeking practical AI leadership skills, strategic insight, and lifelong resources rather than just another certificate, I highly recommend the CAIO Certification.
Having completed several privacy and AI certifications, I found the CAIO certification program refreshingly practical, business-focused, and implementation-driven. Rather than concentrating solely on theory and regulation, it provides actionable frameworks, templates, policies, and tools that can be applied immediately. The focus on real-world AI governance, risk management, and executive decision-making made the learning highly relevant and valuable. Thank you for an outstanding experience—you now have a strong supporter of Copenhagen Compliance certifications in Stockholm.
Day II was fantastic. I learned a lot of new stuff and got some great reference documents to take home. The insights from everyone in the room made it a really informative day.
The CAIO certification course provides participants with a broader understanding of AI governance and offers multiple perspectives beyond the traditional audit focus. Unlike other certifications, which often require additional credentials to qualify, the CAIO program is more accessible while still delivering strong professional and practical value.
I also wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with the CAIO certification I recently attended. I found the programme extremely practical and engaging, with a strong focus on real-world application. It was particularly valuable to see how the concepts translate directly into organisational use cases, and I came away with insights I can apply immediately.
As an alumnus who took this program nearly two years ago, I can absolutely vouch for its value! In fact, I still use the training materials to this day. I remember feeling a bit nervous initially, wondering if it was the right fit for me, but I had been searching for a long time for a program truly packed with high-value substance. Those 3 days completely transformed my approach, giving me practical competencies and a huge appetite for more. I’ll definitely be looking into the recertification when the time comes.
I sincerely hope Kersi Porbunderwala Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA CAIO that we will have the opportunity to meet in Warsaw for a future edition, hopefully in person.
Good luck with the NYC delivery!
I found the CAIO certification to be highly valuable. The training delivered clear, structured, and mature insights into AI leadership, governance, and strategic decision-making. The quality of the explanations and the relevance of the content strongly reinforced my conviction about the importance of the CAIO role. I am confident this knowledge will be directly applicable and impactful as I move toward assuming Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer responsibilities.
How useful was the information presented at the event to you or your company?
Information provided both by the presentations and the knowledge of the presenter were relevent to our Company and resonated well with our GDPR project team.
Do you believe that your professional skills have improved based on the information/training?
I have a more in-depth knowledge of the GDPR Articles, but more importantly a greater understanding of those areas of data privacy compliance that our Company should be focussing on going forward.
How structured was the information presented at the event?
The information presented was well structured. We were given the opportunity to add in additional workshops and to tailor the schedule to focus on areas of importance to us.
This wasn't a standard seminar. It was a hands-on workshop with interactive conversations and a smooth mix of onsite and virtual participation.
Over two days, the program offered a clear and practical path into AI governance, covering risk management, legal and ethical considerations, and safeguards.
The experience closed with a final exam and peer feedback, reinforcing a mindset of action-oriented leadership in ethical and strategic AI governance.
The 3-day power-packed training provided a comprehensive understanding of AI fundamentals, AI in business, AI strategy, AI ethics, AI models, AI architecture, AI frameworks, AI adoption, AI governance, AI risk, and AI compliance.
Each session was relatable through clear illustrations and practical case studies that brought every concept to life.
I am excited to apply these learnings to support ethical AI adoption, strengthen governance practices, and ensure value delivery.
Last week, I stepped into a room in Lagos with a simple expectation: learn more about Artificial Intelligence.
What unfolded was far more profound. Every session peeled back another layer of what it truly means to guide AI at an enterprise scale — responsibly, strategically, and with governance at the core.
Walking out of this programme, I'm not just inspired; I'm prepared. Prepared to design better AI strategies. Prepared to build safer systems. Prepared to shape conversations around responsible AI adoption.
I'm excited to share that I just completed the 3-Day CAIO (Certified Artificial Intelligence Officer) Training held in Lagos this week.
It was a real privilege to be part of the very first CAIO certification training in Nigeria and across Africa.
The training provided deep insights into AI fundamentals, AI in business, AI strategy, AI governance, ethical risk management, responsible AI deployment, regulatory alignment, and practical frameworks for implementing AI strategically within organisations.
One of my favourite takeaways from the program: “AI will optimize your responsibility — and amplify your irresponsibility.”
New milestone unlocked: Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO®)
I proudly announce that I am certified as a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO®) from Copenhagen Compliance, Global AI, GRC and GDPR Solutions.
It is another milestone in my digital transformation journey, building towards a 2.0 version of myself.
It was a three-day intense, packed with knowledge bootcamp, including:
- 30 hours totally of ongoing lecturing and hands-on use cases
- Keynote speakers in the likes of Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA and Sam De Silva
- 3 hours of multiple-choice exams
- A vast toolkit on AI governance and strategic planning
Exiting this experience, I must admit wholeheartedly that this certification was the BEST hands-on process I have experienced up until now on the nascent #AIGovernance field.
No more handbook theory — practical solutions, please.
Super seminar, what a great class n session.
If the recent Chief AI Officer designation training is any indication, diversity is alive and well in AI. Here are some of the facilitators and participants in New York — how awesome is this? No surprise that the training itself was fantastic!
I'm spending the weekend in an immersive training to earn my Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) certification. I'll admit that I'm usually skeptical about certifications, but I took this course to find my blind spots and stay current with emerging AI risks, regulations, and governance strategies. As it turns out, this is one of the most practical and insightful courses I've taken, led by Kersi Porbunderwala, Evan Benjamin, and Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA.
Thanks Kersi Porbunderwala, Evan Benjamin and Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA and all amazing participants in the class. Really enjoyed and learned from everyone's experience in AI and Cyber in the class.
It's an ideal blend of knowledge impartation and practical, professional interaction among diverse stakeholders. The materials are so good. Led by the wonderfully smart and caring Kersi Porbunderwala, a group of roughly 25 global professionals is again gathering today for live training at NYC's American Management Association. The mission: to make AI work for humanity. Simply fantastic — with ongoing efforts like this, AI is in good hands.
The CAIO course was WONDERFUL! I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to attend it. In fact, I was so excited about it that my husband (who is not a lawyer) now wants to attend your next course.
I have posted about this training previously and how good and intensive it is. As a "certified" CAIO you are not just a retitled position inheriting a cluster #$%. As you can see, I do have experience in this lane (and a lot other lanes on this cyber highway) and this is one training that really stands out!!
The CAIO certification class from Copenhagen Compliance, Global GRC, and GDPR Solutions has been an incredible experience. The practical templates (SLA, procurement contracts, risk assessment), the case studies for discussion, and the wealth of knowledge and experiences make it $ and time well spent.
The workshop equipped me with invaluable tools—spreadsheets, guides, checklists, concepts, and even AI models ready to use in Python and test various scenarios and use cases—that will help me navigate the complexities of AI, from understanding challenges and requirements to ensuring compliance frameworks.
It was an intense three days of learning, capped off by three exams. The program provided a great opportunity to connect with professionals from around the world and dive deep into real-world AI governance, including some healthy debates on real-life AI use cases. The best part of the course was how practical it all was. It wasn't just theory; they provided real tools and frameworks that I can adapt and bring back to my work immediately.
I am happy to share I have earned the Chief AI Officer Certification from Copenhagen Compliance, Global AI, GRC and GDPR Solutions through a couple of long nights but filled with great information, use cases and in-class learnings from Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA and Kersi Porbunderwala. The opportunity to learn through this class will allow me to bring these skills forward and continue my learning in how to align AI, Privacy, and GRC into a working yet safe environment.
A huge thank you to Programme Director Kersi Porbunderwala and Instructor Prof. Hernan Huwyler, MBA CPA for their invaluable expertise and mentorship. Their deep insights into AI strategy, governance, risk assessment, and compliance made this learning experience truly transformative!
I want to heartily recommend this CAIO class from Copenhagen Compliance, Global GRC and GDPR Solutions. It is the best three days of training for AI Governance that gives me immediate and practical knowledge I can apply to AI projects. You will be surrounded by practicing AI leaders in this live, instructor-led class with amazing toolkits and practical advice.
Congrats again on the training, well received, i heard positive feedback across the board. My favourite in the material was the 100 risk scenarios you will run into. I printed that out and pinned it on my wall. Great job
